Vinfast IronMan World 2024
On 22nd September, the city of Nice was the scene of the VinFast IRONMAN World Championship 2024. Exhibit Group was fortunate to have been chosen to contribute to this major sporting event by being responsible for the production of all signage along the race course.
Nice, a welcoming place
Once again, IronMan has chosen Nice, recognised as a historic city for triathlon, to host the Women's World Championships, a world-renowned event.
This choice reaffirms the importance of Ironman in the world of long-distance triathlon and strengthens its position as a leader in the organisation of major international sporting events.
IronMan is one of the toughest long-distance triathlon competitions in the world: 3.8 km swimming - 180.2 km cycling - 42.2 km running. An extraordinary challenge, both physically and mentally, which brings together top-level athletes from all over the world.
Expectations
Exhibit Group had the opportunity to contribute to this exceptional event in collaboration with IronMan by producing over 1,400 m² of signage deployed along the 222 km run and bike course, as well as at the finishline on the Promenade des Anglais and in the heart of the exhibitors' village on Place Masséna.
In particular, our teams produced the sublimation-printed cladding for the 5-metre-high screen and DJ towers. The other signage elements were printed using UV and latex on a wide variety of substrates: canvas and non-woven fabric, tarpaulin, adhesives, PVC and cellular polypropylene panels.
Thanks to our mastery of these complementary printing solutions and the dedication of our passionate teams, we have helped to create a memorable atmosphere for athletes, spectators, and organisers.
We extend our congratulations to all the Ironwomen, especially to Marjolaine Pierré from Nice who secured an impressive 4th place, as well as to Laura Philipp, crowned world champion at this exceptional edition of the VinFast IRONMAN World Championship 2024!
