Sportswear

Exhibit Group is proud to have contributed to the greatest global event in Paris, a historic moment where sport played a central role as a vehicle for camaraderie and social cohesion.

Made-to-measure cladding: a challenge met

Sport is far more than just competition; it builds connections and unites people from all walks of life, bringing them together around universal values such as teamwork, respect, and self-improvement. At every sporting event, communities are formed, emotions are shared, and the collective experience becomes unforgettable, marked by a positive energy that transcends cultural and social barriers.

It is in this spirit of conviviality that'OnLocation called on our teams to dress the hospitality venues for this exceptional event.

Expectations

On Location drew on our expertise in the creation and deployment of sports event signage to enhance numerous hospitality venues for the Opening Ceremony of the Games, where thousands of spectators, athletes, and officials were able to share a moment of unity together.

Since March, we have had the honour of working on the interior and exterior fit-out of remarkable reception sites, including:

  • 8 iconic barges parked alongside the quayside
  • 3 sites at the Trocadero (indoor and outdoor)
  • The Palais de Tokyo (outside)
  • The Maison de l'Amérique Latine (outside)
  • The Alma bridge (outside)
  • The Pont de la Concorde (outside)
  • Floating gardens (outdoor)

This project required the printing and installation of over 3,220 square metres of supplementary materials: textiles, rigid panels, and adhesives. We provided technical recommendations to take into account the specificities of each location and advised on specific technical tarpaulins and adhesives, such as removable transparent vinyl for the windows, chosen to leave no trace and preserve the integrity of the barges.

The challenge was significant, requiring particular agility from our installation teams, who were faced with complex logistical constraints, including safety devices, site closures for demining, and numerous other restrictions. Despite these challenges, our team, comprising eight Exhibit Group fitters and approximately ten additional partner fitters, making a total of 18 experts, worked with great precision during the on-site deployment in the two weeks leading up to D-day.

We are very proud to have been able to contribute to the creation of this exceptional event.
