Tailor-made signage
Who hasn't got lost in a hotel when trying to find their room again? It's in these moments that clear, well-placed signage is important for guiding new visitors in this type of establishment.
And precisely! On the occasion of the opening of The Ibis Styles hotel in La Roche-sur-Yon, our Space Design team carried out all the bespoke signage.
Expectations
The brief was to implement a complete signage project with a brass look.
For this project, we brought our expertise on specific uses to apply to this building to the hotelier: placement of directional beacons in compliance with regulations and signage standards.
From inspiration images provided by the client, we offered a comprehensive solution based on our blueprint programming methodology, which precisely defines the number of elements to be produced, their dimensions and layouts, the choice of materials, and a detailed production schedule.
Materials and control
The choice of materials required a great deal of thought. We had to find an aesthetic material that would contrast with the wooden doors, with a premium imitation brass finish, while keeping to a tight budget.
So we came up with a solution for playing with the shadows cast by the lights using thick black slices.
Once the file was approved, our teams produced and installed all the elements in 15 days to deliver the site on time before the safety commission’s inspection.
