Ode to movement
A client in the private tertiary sector entrusted the decorative programming of a 2,000 m2 to our Space Design department. To create a collaborative experience through inspiring decors, we proposed movement as a common thread.
Our team was delighted to come up with a decorative concept based on this exciting theme. Our design invites you to discover movement through dance, using elements that celebrate the body, space, time, energy and relationships.
Expectations
Our client asked us to come up with an original decorative programme for the second floor of its head office. The aim was to create an inspiring atmosphere that would create a powerful employee experience.
We worked on the theme of movement, proposing sets inspired by dance, which involves human interaction and cohesion. With dynamic graphics and bright colours, we're highlighting the movement that underpins this living art form.
Faithful to our vision of space design serving the well-being of our employees, we have come up with an inspiring décor that is a source of creativity, energy and serenity.
Light gradations and geometric shapes in the agile working area, bright colours in the lounge, pastel tones, soft, soothing curves in the relaxation area... each zone has been designed to create a specific atmosphere.
In the collaborative space, a panoramic wall is dedicated to the theme of vibration. Vibration represents both the movement of sound and the energy of music and dance. The dancer dashes forward and makes her mark through the vibrations created by her choreography.
Do you prefer classical or contemporary dance? These two movements are featured on two interactive walls. Employees can operate the dancers' wheel (made of honeycomb cardboard attached to a turntable) to energise their space.
To welcome teams to the silence zone, we proposed modern graphics in soothing tones.
We've selected a variety of materials to play on contrasts and add relief, with lettering and silhouettes in mirrored dibond, Plexiglas pictures on spacer bars and selective varnish printing.
We created an original painting based on the silhouette of a dancer, duplicated to suggest a multiplicity of movements. Our mirror print on makrolon plays on transparency, bringing lightness to the whole.
A series of paintings and silhouettes of dancers printed on Plexiglas with braces and mirrored Dibond cover the corridors.
In terms of signage, we played with the two-way flow from the reception area to the lift exits by drawing the floor number in black on an acidic graphic motif on one side, and vice versa on the other.
In total, almost 240 m2 of sets were produced in our Paris workshops and installed in less than 2 days by our in-house installation team.
