This year, Paris played host to the prestigious Place Vendôme ceremony of the Laureus World Sports Awards ! La Laureus Foundation promotes the practice of sport as a means of combating discrimination and integrating disadvantaged young people. It celebrates sporting excellence by rewarding the achievements of elite athletes.
We helped make this evening magical by producing all the event branding, signage and event decor… and we are proud of it!
Expectations
Our challenge? To immerse Place Vendôme in the world of elite athletes for an exceptional evening.
Our events team coordinated the production and installation of all signage and decoration elements (indoor and outdoor) to dress the venue in the colours of the Laureus World Sports Awards.
The discerning guests were welcomed on the red carpet (no less than 800 m² of carpet laid by us!) and then circulated around a giant 20 m long and 3 m high photocall before entering the Pavillon Vendôme to attend the awards ceremony. Many sports personalities were honoured and Lionel Messi won the coveted title of «Sportsman of the Year»!
This international event brought together personalities and top sportsmen and women, who were interviewed by the media in our own interview boxes.
In all, almost 300 aluminium frames were deployed outside and in the listed salons around Place Vendôme! We covered them with black-backed canvases printed by sublimation and produced in our Print workshops in very large format, the largest measuring 20 m in length.
