Carte blanche to Enki Bilal
Le Museum of Man welcomed theEnki Bilal exhibition at the Germaine Tillion home from 16 March to 13 June.
In echo to the exhibition "At the frontiers of humanity"exploring our limits and questioning the future of our species, the Musée de l’Homme, which was held in parallel, allowed the artist free rein of their art.
Enki Bilal's work dialogues with the themes of this neighbouring exhibition: "I am an exceptional animal," "I am a champion," "I am a cyborg," "I am a mutant," "I am immortal," and "We're all going to die!". These resonate perfectly with the artist's desire to explore boundaries, whether material or metaphorical, temporal or spatial.
This author, known for his comic strips, was able to showcase his imagination and creativity through his works, which combine science fiction and dystopia.
Expectations
As museum exhibition experts, we have printed and installed all the works for the exhibition. Our prints on jet tex, Dibond, and opaque black-backed fabric for hanging kakemonos showcase the artist's large frescoes and drawings.
As for the signage, the routes and striking quotations stand out in cut-out vinyl letters. And for a futuristic touch, the titles have been custom-made in braced brushed aluminium dibond metal.
