Counter Strike sets the Accor Arena alight
France tops the podium
From May 8th to 21st, 24 professional esports teams competed in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for the world championship. Blast TV Paris Major. From the 8th to the 16th, the qualifying rounds took place at Parc Floral de Paris to determine the best teams that could reach the finals. On May 21st, 12,000 physical spectators attended the final at the'Accor Arena Bercy And in total, the event brought together 1.5 million fans live.
We produced all the signage for the two "arenas", an intense challenge in an atmosphere worthy of the World Cup finals.Â
Expectations
Every year, "Majors" (the equivalent of a World Cup) are held to determine the best team in Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO). The 2023 Paris edition marked the last event for the CS: GO franchise. The game will evolve into Counter Strike 2, an advanced new version that will change all of the esports teams' strategies.
To cap it all off, it was the French team Vitality who emerged victorious from the tournament, winning a Major for the first time, and on home turf at that! The next Counter-Strike event will take place in two years as the organiser is giving pro players a year to adapt to new features.Â
For this final CS: GO edition, we have completely handled the signage at Parc Floral for the qualifying rounds and that of L'Accor Arena Bercy for the finals!

For the qualifiers, the bright colours of the event and our impressions transformed the Parc Floral into an e-sports arena! In total, over 300 m² of black-backed fabric were sublimation printed, fixed onto aluminium frames and wooden chassis by our installation teams (stage backdrop, photocall, competition table coverings). For the floor, 100 m² of carpet were printed and laid in one day!
For the final stages, the sets took on an unprecedented scale in the Accor Arena! We printed all the exterior and interior signage (entrances, shops, and walkways). The atmosphere was there, and we are proud to have been able to support Blast on this legendary edition of the Counter Strike Majors!
