Contemporary art invites itself to Chambord
From 1 May to 4 September, the Chambord Castle welcomes Pablo Reinoso for its exhibition "Overflows"on the theme of harmony between man and nature.
The artist has chosen to develop his work around the idea of the ecosystem, which is particularly important on the Chambord estate, as it is a veritable laboratory for biodiversity.
In an unprecedented move, Chambord is inviting Pablo Reinoso to spill over onto the façade of the Château with a monumental installation on the scaffolding. The artist presents "Entrelacs", a 45-metre-high work emblematic of his exploration of Chinese ink painting during his residency at the estate.
Expectations
Our Felix & Co subsidiary printed "Entrelacs", a 45 m high work on 250 m2 of Mesh canvas. Originally produced in India ink, it was scanned and then adapted by our DTP department for large-format printing.
The stakes are high, as this is the very first time that the Domaine de Chambord has authorised a display on the château! This monumental installation is visible from the formal gardens of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Our teams reacted quickly to deploy the canvas in 2 days, while complying with the safety measures for scaffolding on a historic monument.
