Diving into the heart of the Grand Paris Express
This autumn, the Westfield de Châtelet Les Halles offered its many visitors a unique immersive exhibition presented by the Société du Grand Paris and the architect Dominique Perrault.
From 12 October to 2 November, the Canopée was the setting for the captivating adventure of the Grand Paris Express. This was an opportunity to discover the positive impact of this major urban development project on the ecology, mobility, housing and attractiveness of the Paris metropolis.
Exhibit Group produced this monumental project, combining print and video.
Expectations
After the success of the 2nd edition of the Ile-de-France 2022 Architecture and Landscape Biennial, held in the superb rotunda of the Espace Richaud in Versaillesthe agency Eva Albarran has once again called on Exhibit Group to bring this touring exhibition to a wider audience.
The challenge was to adapt the original structure to a high-traffic area. We added a roof over the immersive cube, offering a bird's eye view of the project from the top of the escalators, while meeting the safety standards of the venue.
The installation, comprising 9 very large-format light boxes, was covered with 300 m² of canvas printed by sublimation in our workshops. The entire installation was designed by our Print & Video teams to create an unforgettable experience. The Pavilion offered perfect coordination between images and sound, taking visitors 360° into the heart of the future of Greater Paris.
We rose to the challenge of installing the entire system in just 3 days and nights!
