An immersive exhibition at the crossroads of sport and cinema
Sport & Cinema: the event not to be missed at National Sports Museum, Nice.
Since its opening at the beginning of April, this temporary exhibition has been winning over the public with its immersive approach, combining sporting heritage and film culture.
Sport & Cinema: an event not to be missed
The National Sports Museum wanted to offer visitors an innovative experience, where sport and cinema come together through cult objects and interactive features.
The objective was clear: to deploy all the audio and video resources needed to create a fluid, immersive experience, while optimising the existing audiovisual equipment, some of which was ten years old.
It's a technical challenge that's been met with tight coordination, a great deal of responsiveness and a good dose of ingenuity.
Expectations
We helped the museum set up a scenography in which every detail counts:
- Presentation of rare filming objects, such as a steadycam used on Rocky.
Showcasing cult items: an old Le Mans 24-hour race vehicle, the knife from Tarzana helmet from Ayrton Senna, or a camera from the Big Blue.
Creation of an immersive room dedicated to boxing in cinema, where visitors can shoot their own mini-film using a green screen system, finding themselves transported to a dojo, a boxing ring and much more.
Installation of an interactive quiz to test your sporting cinephilia.
A project that illustrates the combination of technical know-how and cultural passion, in the service of an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to the Musée National du Sport for its confidence in this project, which combines technology, heritage and a passion for sport.
The exhibition runs until 16 November 2025.
