Majid Al Futtaim stand - MIPIM 2024

Extreme curves

Immersion in the luxury of the future

On the occasion of the MIPIM 2024 (the world's leading event for real estate and urban planning), we had the pleasure of presenting some extraordinary projects thanks to our brand new us2+ LED panels, an ultra-flexible, high-performance product for limitless imagination!

To plunge visitors into the ambitious project for a luxury residential complex in the heart of the forest... in Dubai! proposed by Majid Al FuttaimWe created an original digital device featuring extreme curves that were previously impossible to achieve.

Expectations

After the Shomoul stand MAPIC 2023, our Irish decorator client, Over & AboveOnce again we were presented with a major technical challenge to create Majid Al Futtaim's superb stand at MIPIM 2024.

To win the highly competitive tender for this stand, Over & Above needed a partner they could trust. Reassured by our technical team as to the feasibility of their idea, they were able to propose the innovative design below, which helped them win over Majid Al Futtaim.

To illuminate the luxurious residences of Majid Al Futtaim (M.A.F.), our digital signage experts created a bespoke LED structure made up of no fewer than 111 LED panels. It's a rather crazy project, featuring a large-format screen with a perfect curve... wrapped around a cylindrical pillar! A feat made possible thanks to our new uS2+ panels ultra-flexible, combined with Brompton processors to deliver exceptional visual quality.

The icing on the cake: we also equipped the M.A.F stand with an interactive broadcasting system activated by RFID chips.

By moving an object with an RFID chip to the reception antenna built into the furniture, visitors could trigger the broadcast of the video associated with the chip number. Guests could then choose to watch the project of their choice from the 7 videos on offer.

If the sensor remained in place, the selected video was looped. As soon as the chipped object was returned to its original position, the introductory video reappeared.
