Land of horizons

Our client, a major insurance company, has undertaken a complete transformation of the workspaces within its two buildings located in Pessac, near the ocean.

A large-scale project

This refurbishment and redevelopment project aims to modernise the premises, while creating more welcoming, stimulating working environments designed exclusively for the well-being of their employees.

After the success in AngersOnce again, this tertiary sector group has entrusted us with the task of personalising its Pessac site, bringing to bear our expertise in decoration, bespoke printing and project management to ensure smooth, creative implementation.

The ocean, often referred to as the "blue planet", covers almost 75% of our Earth and produces the vital oxygen we breathe. It is within these vast expanses that life originated, nourished by a biodiversity that is essential to our survival. In our project, we wanted to pay tribute to this blue immensity, a true symbol of gentleness and strength.

Expectations

We firmly believe that environmental well-being goes hand in hand with employee fulfilment. That's why our decorative approach aims to create a warm, friendly atmosphere in meeting areas, while encouraging concentration and calm in work spaces. Reception areas, common spaces, corridors, offices, meeting rooms... each space has been designed to provide a pleasant and stimulating working environment, while respecting an eco-responsible approach and promoting the employee experience.

We suggested to our client that they immerse themselves in a journey inspired by the Arcachon Basin and the shores of the Atlantic, where the sea breeze permeates right through to the offices, inviting them to explore new horizons, with nature as the common thread.

We've imagined sets that are both enchanting and dynamic, based on a colour palette inspired by nature and marine flora and fauna.

Each floor reflects a specific theme, voted for by the employees themselves, so that they can immerse themselves in an environment that speaks to them. Four main themes have been chosen:

Waves & Oceans: capturing the power and serenity of the oceans
Cabanes tchanquées: a tribute to the authenticity of the Bay of Arcachon
Forest of the moors: immerse yourself in the luxuriant nature of the pine forests
Seafunds & Ecology: celebrating marine biodiversity

Focus on media

We have selected specific materials to adapt our designs to the different employee areas (reception, common areas, offices, meeting rooms, etc.).

The murals were mainly printed on PVC-free materials. Decorative elements inspired by nature were printed and cut on M1-rated wood.

To personalise the space, we also suggested that our customer create some original decorative elements: decorative frames made from recycled materials, including shells, pebbles, driftwood and polished glass, as well as relief paintings cut from wood.

The result?

Design, production and installation of 7,100 m² of wall cladding, window graphics and custom-made decorative objects.

A project that came to fruition in stages, thanks to a serious and experienced methodology, and the synergy of a professional team of passionate people!

One floor, one theme - Ground floor: Waves & Oceans

The building's ground floor, entirely designed and conceived by our teams, evokes the wild Atlantic, welcoming staff with delicate waves at the entrance and amplified movement in the corridors. The blue tones, from sky to navy blue, embody the power and serenity of the oceans.

Cut-out vinyl and glazing add an interactive dimension, while seamless visuals mask damaged walls, creating an impressive visual continuity. Every element, from adhesives to decorative objects, has been designed to immerse employees in an inspiring and immersive experience from Building 1 to Building 2.

FLOOR 1: Cabanes tchanquées

We have transformed the first floor (of Building 1) by capturing the essence of shacks and fishing villages. The wood (M1-rated) adds an ecological and sustainable touch, while the glazing creates a subtle play of light for an inspiring and warm working environment.

STAGE 1: Heath forest

On the first floor of Building 2, immerse yourself in a natural atmosphere with green and brown tones that evoke the beauty of the forest landscape.

The vinyl celebrates the majestic trees and lush foliage, creating a haven of peace where nature takes centre stage.

Our creative teams have used wood, triptych frames and stretched canvas to add volume and relief to the walls. The decoration, made from recycled materials, illustrates our commitment to protecting the environment.

FLOOR 2: Seabed & Ecology

Here, ecology comes to life in a vibrant tribute to the seabed and the coral reef.

We used recycled materials such as polished glass, shells and wood to create decorative frames that illustrate our commitment to the environment. The decorative windows, made from frosted adhesive for added privacy, plunge employees into a stimulating underwater world (Buildings 1 & 2).

Every detail, from the wall objects to inspirational words like "climate" and "recycling", reinforces the importance of preserving our planet while creating a pleasant workspace for employees. We're proud to have contributed to this innovative and eco-responsible project!
