MIPIM 2023: a greener edition
Every year, the Palais des Festivals in Cannes hosts 50 events, including the MIPIM. To reduce the environmental impact of our event signage, we have produced all our materials using eco-responsible materials.
Reconciling responsiveness and eco-responsibility
Le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes hosts 50 events a year on 35,000 m² of exhibition space!
As every year, we will be present at the MIPIMthe largest international market for property professionals, to cover all signage and advertising space.
To cover the 7 floors of the palace, the outdoor areas and the large glass roofs, we printed over 5,000 m² in our workshops in Nice!
To limit the environmental impact of this event, signage was produced on eco-responsible panels.
The entire system was installed by our legend-laying teams.
Expectations
The Palais des Festivals welcomes over 20,000 professionals from all over the world to its 7 floors for the legendary MIPIM. We produced and deployed all the signage and advertising displays.
Thanks to our state-of-the-art machinery and our expertise in events of this scale, we have a real strike force that enables us to react quickly to such demand.
Advertising space in the palace and on the glass roofs covers more than 3,600 m². Our in-house installers use alpine techniques to place prints up to 18 m high by 30 m wide on the various glass roofs. Monumental!
As it's very easy to get lost in this giant labyrinth, the number of signage panels and tarpaulins was also very high. We produced and installed over 1,500 m² of signage throughout the palace and the accreditation area.
These thousands of m² of printing and die-cutting required impeccable logistical preparation and coordination in our workshops. Today, we know how to put everything in place to respond effectively to projects of this scale.
This monumental project involved all our fitters for more than 48 hours.
A strong commitment to eco-responsibility
For interior signage, we have recommended the only fire-rated green honeycomb board at the moment. This eco-responsible 100 % recyclable panel from sustainable forests is manufactured using green energy. It's an ideal alternative to traditional PVC panels, which are too polluting.
Durst P5 350 HS
To meet the challenge, we have a major asset: our new competition machine, the Durst P5 350 HS! This hybrid UV printing machine prints 250 to 300 m² per hour. Today, we're the only ones in France to have it in our workshops!
