Autumn Nations Series 2024

France-New Zealand, a memorable victory

A historic three-way tie, France triumph over the All Blacks

On 16 November, the Stade de France was transformed into a spectacular setting to host one of the most eagerly-awaited matches in the world. Autumn Nations Series 2024: France-New Zealand.

Organised every November, the Autumn Nations Series is a not-to-be-missed tour featuring the world's greatest rugby nations. Teams from the northern hemisphere (France, Italy, England, Ireland, etc.) play host to teams from the southern hemisphere (New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, Fiji, etc.), offering some top-class encounters. In July, the dynamic is reversed, and the teams from the North travel to play their opponents from the South on home soil. For logistical reasons, the southern hemisphere nations generally play the same opponent three times, adding to the intensity and rivalry of these matches.

This 2024 edition was marked by a historic performance from the French team. They won all three of their matches, including a resounding victory over New Zealand, the Blues have achieved an unprecedented feat: beating the French champions three times in a row. All Blacks in their last two meetings. A feat that will go down in the history of French rugby.

In front of 80,000 spectators, this sold-out event made a lasting impression thanks to its sporting intensity and the unique atmosphere that filled the venue. Stade de France.

For this exciting match, we have designed the entire stadium in the colours of the French Rugby Federation (FFR). From the changing rooms to the pitch, from the lounges to the bodegas, every detail has been designed to celebrate sporting excellence and fan enthusiasm.

Expectations

To welcome rugby fans, the French Rugby Federation faced a major challenge, and our teams were there to help. In just 48 hours, installing day and night, we rose to the technical and logistical challenge of dressing the entire Stade de France in the colours of the two competing nations.

To enhance the anthem moment, two giant jerseys measuring 15 x 20 m, representing France and New Zealand, were printed and deployed on the pitch, providing an impressive visual spectacle.

This express installation was made possible by flawless organisation and a mastery of technical solutions, from large-format printing on a variety of materials such as black-backed fabric, stretched canvas on a wooden frame, Akilux panels, polymer and monomer vinyl, carpet, Re-Stick vinyl that can be easily removed to preserve each surface... to the installation of the supports.

At Exhibit Group, we place particular emphasis on eco-responsibility. Year after year, a large proportion of the elements produced for the Stade de France are reused, with a view to optimisation and sustainability. This is the case, for example, of the canvas on the columns in the lounges, the signage in the bodegas and the toblerones on the pitch, in order to limit unnecessary production.

Despite the tight timing of the installation, which took place between two other major events, our teams carried it out brilliantly, guaranteeing a unique and warm atmosphere for the 80,000 spectators present on the night of the match.

A big thank you to everyone who helped to make this an exceptional event.
