A VR exhibition at the Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles<\/p>

This sensory adventure plunges visitors into the fascinating world of the 17th century, at the crossroads of history, technology and stagecraft. The Sun King's lost gardens\nin virtual reality<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Le\u00a0Palace of Versailles<\/a>\u00a0is opening a new chapter in its history with an immersive experience that is as poetic as it is innovative. Using virtual reality, visitors are invited to travel back in time to 1682, alongside the famous gardener Andr\u00e9 Le N\u00f4tre, to explore gardens that have now disappeared: the Royal Menagerie, the Labyrinth grove, the T\u00e9thys grotto...<\/p><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Recreating the exotic, mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere of the forgotten gardens of the Sun King<\/a> was the focus of this immersive project at the Ch\u00e2teau de Versailles.<\/p>

The idea was not simply to tell the story, but to bring it to life visually, immersing visitors in a world that was faithful to the 17th century, from the moment they first entered the exhibition room.\u00a0<\/p>

To bring this journey back in time to life, our teams have created entirely bespoke immersive sets:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • Exotic animals printed on M1 fire-rated wood and cut to shape punctuate the space, recalling the richness of the Royal Menagerie.<\/li>
  • A wall decoration using PVC-free wallpaper, with rich, colourful textures, recreates the graphic atmosphere of the groves of yesteryear.<\/li>
  • Finely cut frosted vinyl windows evoke the luxuriant vegetation and dreamlike sculptures of vanished gardens.<\/li><\/ul>

    A complete project, from design to installation, to create a stage setting worthy of the place and its history.<\/p>
