Climate Action Plan
Acting for tomorrow's world
A voluntary approach in line with the National Low-Carbon Strategy
Member of the Business for Climate Convention (CEC), Exhibit Group works alongside 150 companies to promote sustainable growth that respects the environment.
We wanted to include our carbon assessment in our CEC roadmap. This is a voluntary, free and conscious process (SMEs are not affected by the legal obligation).

The National Low-Carbon Strategy
Introduced by the French Law on Energy Transition for Green Growth (Loi de Transition Énergétique pour la Croissance Verte), the National Low-Carbon Strategy is France's roadmap for tackling climate change. It aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. To achieve this, it sets out guidelines for implementing the transition to a low-carbon, circular and sustainable economy. It concerns all sectors of activity and must be supported by everyone: citizens, local authorities and businesses.
The priorities of the National Low-Carbon Strategy :
1. Decarbonising energy production
2. Halving energy consumption
3. Reducing non-energy related emissions
4. Increasing and securing carbon sink
Our Carbon Strategy
The aim of our carbon assessment?
Highlighting the most significant points of impact generated by our activity in order to identify our areas for improvement and implement concrete measures to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
Scope of assessment
We entrusted our Print & Event 2021 carbon assessment to the firm Incidence 8 and decided to study the 3 scopes of greenhouse gas emissions linked to Exhibit Group's activities:
Scope 1: direct emissions emitted by the company directly linked to the manufacture of the product (fuels supplying factories and industrial buildings, production itself, air conditioning)
Scope 2: energy carbon footprint indirect emissions linked to the energy consumption required for production (electricity, heating, etc.)
Scope 3: other indirect emissionsemissions, which are not directly linked to the manufacture of the product, but to other stages in its life cycle (supply, transport, use, end of life, etc.); equipment, business travel, investments and accounting, etc.
It took no less than 18 months to collect and analyse our data accurately! This required a strong commitment from all departments to collect all the data needed to have the most realistic and exhaustive representation possible of Exhibit Group's carbon impact.
Our 2023/2024 Climate Action Plan
We obtained the results of our GHG 2021 assessment at the beginning of March. This data has shed light on the most critical areas and enabled us to draw up a concrete action plan to reduce our GHG emissions and comply with the Paris agreements.
We have defined 4 major priority projects:
1_Reduce the carbon footprint of employee travel, both on the road and in the workplace. business travel that commuting ;
2_Carry out a detailed investigation of operational purchasing to strengthen the policy of responsible purchasing of goods and services, involving the Group's suppliers ;
3_Work on product design to reduce waste associated with products: direct waste, packaging and end-of-life products ;
4_ Improving quality of activity data for future exercises by gathering more operational data from stakeholders.
All ambassadors for the ecological transition
To carry out these projects, it is necessary toget employees on board.
Stage 1: Raising awareness among teams
Group-wide meetings were organised to launch our Carbon Footprint. We invited our volunteer employees to become ambassadors of the ecological transition: raising awareness of climate issues among their colleagues and partners, acting as a spokesperson for the actions taken by the Group and initiating concrete sustainable actions on a daily basis.
From pilot groups took part in the Fresque du climat and The Week training, designed to help us raise awareness of the urgent need to tackle climate and environmental issues. Our ambition is to train all our employees by 2024.
Stage 2: setting up project groups
We rely on collective intelligence through working sessions and workshops that bring together business contributors from each of our departments.
