Business for Climate Convention
Acting for tomorrow's world
150 leaders commit to sustainable transition
The climate emergency is gathering pace, as the latest IPCC report. To take concrete action in favour of the ecological transition, Exhibit Group has joined the Business for Climate Convention (CEC), a model inspired by the Citizens' Climate ConventionAlongside 150 companies committed to sustainable growth and respect for the environment.
The aim? To help reduce greenhouse gases by 55% by 2030, while protecting biodiversity and regenerating living organisms.

French companies at the heart of the ecological transition
The CEC brings together companies from a wide range of sectors (construction, culture, food and energy), employing more than 250,000 people and generating sales of over €35 billion. The mission of this collective, which represents the French economy, is to issue ambitious environmental roadmaps by encouraging all sectors to change.
Redesigning business models
The Business Climate Convention was conceived to resolve the dissonance between ecological urgency and economic priorities.
How can we ensure the profitability of businesses while protecting our common habitat? When companies limit their impact, they have to assume higher costs and therefore lose profitability... So we need to overhaul our business models and adopt new standards in order to transform the economy in a sustainable way.
As creators of wealth, companies have the power to direct their investments. Their financial weight in the economy gives them a stronger voice in the political arena, whose support is needed to establish these new standards.
A unique collective to take concrete action for sustainable transition
The 150 top executives are committed to being agents of change by forming a duo with their Planet Champion to orchestrate the transformation of the organisation internally through the implementation of their ecological roadmaps.
Each member is an ambassador, and will be responsible for taking on board its entire eco-system: its subcontractors and other companies that can help it to develop the circular and regenerative economy. The aim is to create an influence that will encourage the entire French economic fabric to make the transition.
To support these 150 volunteer managers, the CEC is also bringing together a mission guarantor committeeThe conference will be attended by a wide range of experts, including independent experts, facilitators and participants from the student world. A large number of organisations, associations and institutions which brings together a large number of players from the private and public sectors, is also supporting the CEC.
11 months to get things moving
From 9 September 2021 to 1 July 2022, managers will be surrounded by the best scientific and educational experts to help them rethink their business and activities.
6 times a year, members come together for 48 hours to attend expert presentations, inspiring talks, discussions and workshops to imagine the business models of tomorrow.
Raison d'être, governance, business model, accounting, green taxation, communication, human resources... Each company is building its roadmap for ecological redirection by relying on collective intelligence.
